The objective of ECO project is to re-use EV batteries in a sustainable way by giving them a second life. By reusing these used EV batteries, we can save resources in producing new batteries and energy storage devices. Although retired batteries can no longer satisfy strict requirements of electric vehicles to achieve supreme performance, their overall functionality and effectiveness are still very well for other applications. This makes them an ideal alternative energy storage if properly dismantled, tested and repackaged.
